HOWARD STREET TAVERN/JIM LUDWIG
Jim Ludwig accepts his induction plaque from Butch Berman.
Jim Ludwig made many contributions to Nebraska music
1970's, most notably as a nightclub owner. In 1972,
the now-legendary Zoo Bar in Lincoln and moved on to
Howard Street Tavern in Omaha in 1978. Jim also
started Candy Apple
records in 1975 and produced LP's for Sour Mash, The
Magic Slim, and John Walker. As a concert promoter,
concerts at The Royal Grove, Peony Park and the old Midwest
Speedway in Lincoln.
